Church Closure

Church reopening times: Government guidance regarding Services in churches changed at the end of June and, as from July 4th, regular worship Services may be held, providing safeguards and guidance are followed. The Rector will be consulting with our PCC members as to how and when public worship in the Benefice churches can be safely resumed, and our parishioners will be advised as soon as decisions have been taken.

At the moment, we can enjoy worship together as a Benefice via Zoom every Sunday at 10.00 am. The link to access this short service, led by the Rector, is given on the Lower Windrush Benefice website:

Our churches in the Benefice are now open on TUESDAYS and SATURDAYS from 9 am to 5 pm for personal prayer & reflection. There is safety advice in each church, please follow the guidance carefully and enjoy some moments of peace and calm within our beautiful buildings.

If you would like support or help, please contact the Rector, Revd Jo Hurst, at the Rectory her on:  Your Churchwardens Sue and Carol at St. Giles’ Church are also happy to help with any queries you may have.

BESOM Witney Foodbank

Many of you have generously  donated goods to THE BESOM (Witney) foodbank. They have now told us that they don’t require any more goods at present, but would greatly appreciate a money donation to enable them to buy goods as necessary, or give food vouchers to those who need them.

To make a donation, please visit the Besom website (it's easy to do!):

Thank you for your kindness
