Witney Pharmacies

Prescription deliveries from Witney Pharmacies

During these strange times we have some good news! We are working with the Witney Scouts to get your prescriptions delivered to you, so you can stay at home.

Just e-mail to volunteers@standlake.community or call 01280 360040 (between hours 8am – 5pm)  and give the following details.

  • your name
  • your address including post code
  • your date of birth
  • your telephone number
  • The name of the pharmacy and its location (i.e Boots on the High Street, Lloyds at Sainsbury’s)
  • The date the prescription will be ready

The Scouts will collect all prescriptions that are ready and will bring to a hub in Standlake for delivery to you by a volunteer, to your front or main access door.

NB: if you are not age exempt (under 16 or over 60) please contact the pharmacy first to either pay over the phone or advise the pharmacy of your exemption before contacting us.

If you have a repeat prescription, then order it in the usual way either electronically or by ringing your Practice.

Please be aware that any delay in delivery will be as a result of the prescription still awaiting processing by the relevant pharmacy and not a fault of the Scouts pick up service.

Currently it is for Witney pharmacies only and if it expands to Bampton and Eynsham we will keep you informed. In the meantime, for those pharmacies, if you need help with the collection of prescriptions do call the helpline.

We hope this service will enable you to stay safely at home.
